Mr. & Mrs. Hurley//The White Room//St. Augustine Wedding Photographer

Michelle and Andrew are M-A-R-R-I-E-D!!! These two are SO adorable! They saw each other across the room (just like in a movie), then they ran into each other at Starbucks—Andrew was kicking himself when he left for not asking for her number, then finally, they ran into each other AGAIN at Winn Dixie!!! How crazy is that? This time Andrew got the pretty girl’s number. Several months later, Andrew showed up in Michelle’s elementary school classroom with a cake-topper she had admired at Declaration Boutique. Inside the cake-topper was Michelle’s GORGEOUS diamond ring!

Ryland and I are so blessed to know Michelle and Andrew. We all go to the same small group (bible study) each week to learn about Jesus together. It is so awesome growing close to people on that kind of level. We comfort and encourage each other in so many ways. Our small group watched Michelle and Andrew fall in love and it is so cool for all of us to finally celebrate the rings on their fingers! Being around other couples that really value the sanctity of marriage is a refreshing place to be. Thanks for setting an example of purity, love, and commitment you two! We love you!

Ryland is my second shooter for weddings that require two photographers. It was so much fun working with my hubby!

Here are the amazing vendors that performed at Michelle and Andrew’s wedding:

Dj: Rick mascia, Domino Entertainment Flowers: Flowers by Shirley Paper Designs/Creation: Declaration Events & Boutique Videographer: CollabCreation Hair: Keri, Island Sanctuary Salon

I just noticed this next shot after I wrote the post. It is a closer perspective of the above photo with Michelle & her make-up artist’s shadows on the rear wall of the salon. Cool!

Hahaha. Look at my crazy “have to get that shot” pose. Here is Ryland’s version of the elevator shot…I love how it looks gansta. You might think these umbrellas are decorative but…IT REALLY WAS STARTING TO RAIN! We had to jump back in the trolly and head over to Magnolia Street where the trees could shelter us.Michelle is so creative and sentimental. She brought these props along for some cute Mr. & Mrs. shots. Here is the infamous Declaration cake topper crowning their beautiful four tiered wedding cake. Michelle LOVES the Hurley brand now that that is her last name. She hung a Hurley banner  on the railing next to the dance floor and the grooms cake sported the Hurley logo as well.
I can’t get over how beautiful and joyful Andrew’s mom looked as she danced with him. What a wonderful moment.
The best man and maid of honor speeches were so great—funny and meaningful always makes for a great wedding toast. Michelle’s maid of honor informed Andrew that in his life with Michelle, he better be ready to take A LOT of pictures. Michelle likes to document EVERYTHING with a photo. Molly then listed several examples of strange times Michelle has pulled out a camera to snap a few. Michelle, I am on your side and I hear ya girl. There is no such thing as too many pictures. Oh wait….hold on…my external hard drive just called… it wants its memory back.  The toy car on the right belonged to the ring-bearer. The wheels didn’t survive the reception, unfortunately.
In the midst of the partying, the DJ announced that there was a special treat for Andrew. Michelle and her bridesmaids pulled off a choreographed dance to “It seems like everywhere I go, the more I see the less I know…But I know one thing—that I love you.” It was amazing. Brittany—the dance choreographer extraordinaire stood behind Andrew to give little hints for what step came next. (Like your mom when you are in the first grade talent show, as one of the bridesmaids pointed out.) Great job ladies!
BUT WAIT….move over girls. The guys had a surprise dance up their sleeves as well! It was HILARIOUS! They did their “single ladies” dance moves SO well! Compare pictures of the guys dancing to the girls dancing…do I dare wonder if the guys PRACTICED more? Or maybe they just get together and dance to “single ladies” for fun.  Michelle’s grandma was stealing all the young stud attention on the dance floor. Too bad he is taken grandma! Viv is marrying the dance choreographer extraordinaire (Brittany) in September. Stay tuned for their wedding pictures on the blog!Brandy got on the wrong edge of my 16-35 SUPER wide angle lens but I couldn’t hold back sharing this photo of Jeremy and Josh “dancing”. Not your typical white boys on the dance floor. Here are some of Ryland and I in action!…
I loved these daddy-daughter shots…The flower girls were all about twirling up the dance floor.Ryland shot this great picture of Ella (one of the flower girls). I love how the roses are in focus and her face is a little softer. Great job babe!
I joined the dance party for a few pictures—just so I could be documented as a guest! Look at all of my fun friends! Love you guys!Congratulations you two! (Off they went to Saint Lucia!)

hello & welcome
