Come on out baby! There is a whole beautiful world to see!

 

Since his daddy is a surfer dude, Ryland and I decided to make our little guy’s nursery a surfer theme :)… The design/decorating is somewhat limited because we are renting right now but I am sure baby “o” will like his space in the meantime! I am looking forward to painting the walls in his nursery when we buy a house this fall (Lord willing).

Tyson liked the rug that my mom bought for baby “O” too much so we had to buy him his own bed for the baby’s room. :)  Every morning, Tyson gets up from his bed in our room and goes to lay in the baby’s room. So cute :)“You can’t stop the waves, but you can learn to surf.” How appropriate for this year…
Ryland and I love these toys made by “B.” from Target. The toys are so colorful, fun, and really educational. (For instance, this chime has the notes written on it so our little boy can learn music instead of just noise. hahahaha) We cannot wait to play again!!!Going through my dad’s house, Ryland found this awesome toy plane made out of stained glass…It is actually a kaleidoscope when you look through the end of the plane toward those crazy shapes on the front. I wish I could ask my dad where it was from…This octopus toy is named “captain calamari”—how are kids ever supposed to learn the ways of life when they can’t even get it right with toy naming? Calamari is squid…not octopus people. But cuteness trumps intelligence when it comes to baby toys…so I bought him at kohl’s. :)One of our favorite “B.” toys…Trailer Gram and Little gram bought this for baby “o”…
If you know a new dad—get him this book! “Be Prepared” is a hilarious guide to being a dad and it is actually a really helpful rundown for new moms too!This Coach diaper bag was en route to our house a few weeks after I found out I was pregnant. I am such a bag lady—could not wait to get my diaper bag and stock it! I feel like Harriet the Spy with a stash of necessary items around my waist to take on the world. Yes, we are well stocked and ready–bring it on baby! We want to be professional parents!

I can’t wait to change diapers—My friends decorated these diapers with funny sayings so the baby’s cute little bum will make me laugh every time I change him.
