Movie tickets, greeting cards, journals, and photographs--For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for preserving memories through collecting keepsakes and artifacts of life. So many of our best chapters pass by almost unnoticed; too fast to savor and soak in.
That is why I became a photographer. I want to make heirlooms of people's most intimate, cherished moments. Can you close your eyes and feel what it felt like to be there again? It is my privilege and honor to make sure you can.

I met my husband on the beach when I was 18. He was surfing and always after the perfect wave; I had my camera ready, always after the perfect shot. When Ryland paddled in, we asked for each others' names and I snapped a portrait of him. Knowing exactly how he looked that day is such a treasure. When I reflect back over our whole life together, all we have been through and all we have built, I love knowing that this single moment on the beach is not something I have to conjure up or imagine from vague memory...It's recorded in a photograph that we both can revel in as one of the best days of our lives.
