It took a long time to sort through the photos from livin’ the dream last year! But, I charged the 2011 folder on my external hard drive to pull out some of my favorite shots. Sometimes, as a photographer, (and an american), I find myself always looking for the next GREAT shot or next GREAT photo shoot; often getting discouraged that I am not where I want to be in my life/in my business/in my artistic growth/etc. But, looking back on this year, I cannot help but praise God out LOUD for all the amazing people I spent time with and all the amazing moments I was gifted to witness. No doubt-I have a long way to go on this journey. BUT, I have also come a VERY long way from shooting with a rebel xsi, setting up a website on Vistaprints, and editing my pictures on Picnik! haha. I am not ashamed: everyone has to start somewhere.

Thank you Lord for having dreams for me that are bigger than my own!
