About a month ago, I was invited to Pittsburgh by Leigh Young of Leigh Young Photography as a second shooter for this GORGEOUS amish country wedding. First of all, it is so AMAZING working with Leigh. She was my second shooter back in April and it is always a blast to shoot with her. (It helps that she is my best friend and was my maid of honor!) She has always been such an inspiration to me, especially in her faith. I have always thought “I want to be like THAT girl.” Unfortunately, no matter how hard I try, I talk way too much to be as graceful as Leigh. But—Good thing she is a great listener! Anyway—you should totally check out her website and give her some encouragement because she just hit the ground running with her photog business and she is doing GREAT!
It was SO much fun to be in the backseat for a change. Being a second shooter meant that I could focus on the “behind the scenes” shots and get a little creative! I love details and this wedding was details galore. Plus–I used my new macro lens which made for some awesome ring shots. Overall, it was a great “first time as a second shooter” experience.
