Laurie and Robert are adorable together! They are so giddy and laugh at EVERYTHING. Everyone could tell that on their wedding day in May, they couldn’t wait to be each other’s Mr. and Mrs. When they first contacted me about their wedding, I was a little hesitant to accept it because Laurie and Robert’s date landed on my birthday! After I thought about it for about….2 seconds, I responded to them saying “I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my birthday. I love photographing weddings and it will be a blast!”
Fast forward to my 23rd birthday…It rained ALL day. It was pouring. I knew that the wedding was scheduled for an outdoor ceremony so I prayed hard that it would stop just in time! And…..IT DID! It was beautiful and we could not have asked for better lighting for photos. At the end of the night, Robert grabbed the microphone to thank everyone and he asked everyone to sing “Happy Birthday” to me. I thought that was so special because Laurie and Robert were the ones to be the center of attention. Thank you, Laurie and Robert, for the amazing day. You two truly are so happy together and everyone knows it! The dance party was a blast!
Their cake toppers were so adorable. If you can’t tell, the groom is fishing for a bride with a gold ring as bait.
Their wedding took place at the Kingfish Grill in St. Augustine. The boats surrounding the outdoor ceremony were a beautiful backdrop.

The last song of the night was a karaoke opportunity. Everyone passed around the mic and had a chance to belt it out like they were on American Idol.
