Easter can be every day—I love thinking about Jesus conquering death for us! How powerful! How wonderful! Easter Sunday has got to be better than watching Braveheart or any epic battle movie. To be honest, I have never actually seen Braveheart (I know, gasp. While we are at it, I have never seen Star Wars either…I know, gasp!) Anyway, we put on cute floral dresses and chase eggs but do we truly realize that we are actually celebrating the amazing outcome of an epic battle!? It’s the Super Bowl of the universe! Congratulations all of you Christ-dwellers! We have won again. We have received Jesus, the prize. We have received the title: we are champions of life because of HIM! We are reminded once again of his amazing love for us. Our ransom has been paid. Hallelujah!
